Felt gift card holders!

Hello all! Well life has been really busy with working and family. I don't have much time for posting many projects here. I'm hoping I will be able to start posting more in the Fall.  Here is a some felt gift card holders I created with my daughter. These can hold a small gift too.  Here is one with a Christmas Tree on it. I created this one for a Christmas in July project idea. :)
This one here with the cake on it is for a Birthday. ;) We stenciled the designs on the felt bags. I hot glued the bag together with a hot glue gun. It can be sewn but it really doesn't need to because felt does not ravel around edges. I punched hole at top with the Crop- A- Dile hole punch and put tulle in the holes to tie bag at top.
Here is all the items used to create the gift card holders. Craft felt,  Plaid stencils, tulle and Tulip crystal dimensional fabric paint.

Hello all! It's time for another fun challenge at Decorate to Celebrate. For Challenge #55, we are asking you to create any project to be used as a party decoration (or party supply) for an ANIMAL THEMED PARTY or EVENT!!  Let's celebrate EVERYTHING WONDERFUL ABOUT DOGS, CATS, GIRAFFES, ELEPHANTS, MONKEYS and all the other ANIMALS YOU LOVE with your table decorations, party banners, pennants, yard signs, cupcakes, party favors and more!!  :)
For my Wild animal party I created a candy cake. For this project I used. Two 7 7/8 in x 1 15/16 in round floral arranger. Green crepe paper streamer to wrap around floral arrangers. Wild animal toys to put on top of candy cake. All these items I purchased from the Dollar Tree Store for a dollar each. I purchased a large tub of Now and Later candies from Sam' Club for $7.00. I hot glued all the candies to the floral arrangers. The tree leaves was made with some green gift wrap and brown construction paper to create tree bottom. Very easy to create and I didn't use any Cricut cuts to create this project. :)

Patriotic Flower Pens!!

Hello everyone!! I hope your are enjoying this Summer. I been trying to do a lot of fun things with my daughter and she is having a blast so far!! :) 2013 is flying by quickly I think so. I can't believe it is already July and we will be celebrating Independence Day on Thursday!! I have a fun patriotic project to share today. I used the Cricut Flower Shoppe Cartridge to create these red, white and blue flower pens. This is the scallop1 flower on page 13 of handbook. For this project you will need some pens, patriotic ribbon, 12 in x 12 in cardstock red, white, blue. I cut 4 flowers on each 12 in x 12 in piece of cardstock. I rolled the flowers on top of pen and hot glued as I rolled to keep flower together. I glued a piece of patriotic ribbon around the pen where I rolled flower up.
These flower pen make great  Forth of July party favors for the  ladies at the cookout. All the ladies will love them!! :) Here is a link to more flower pens I created.
Here is a close up of the flowers.
I hope you enjoyed looking at my flower pens. Have a great day. Thank you for stopping by!! ;)
